Position:           Teacher (Special Education)

Duties: Provide instruction and classroom management in a small Special Education classroom using techniques to promote learning. Each classroom has a 1:5 student ration with a Certified Teacher and a Bachelor's level Para-educator. Teachers work closely with the License Professional Counselor to implement treatment plans and develop and implement student IEP. The ten student classroom is structured with the emphasis on improving student behavior to promote learning. EOE

Qualifications: Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification and at least 2 years classroom experience.

Position:       Licensed Practical Nurse (evening shift)

Duties: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the LPN will perform selected duties to promote the physical health of our adolescent clients. Responsibilities will include but are not limited too execute physician's orders, administer medication and maintain accurate and safe control of all medication in accordance with policy. Schedule and maintain monthly ancillary appointment calendar; accompany clients to appointments; notify RN, MD and other appropriate staf of any significant changes in the client's condition/behavior and document observations. Collaborate with members of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to develop patient care goals. Participate in discharge planning to include preparation of discharge medications.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited program with the desire to work with at-risk adolescents; valid Missouri driver’s license

Position: Substance Abuse Counselor (Part time)

Duties: conduct weekly group sessions to provide drug prevention education to adolescent clients; maintain records of client interaction by preparing weekly progress notes and quarterly staffing notes; consult with members of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to assess clients progress; administer and collect data for outcomes measurements; collaborate with other agencies to facilitate community forums on drug treatment and prevention.

Qualifications: Masters degree or Missouri CSAC Certificate with 2 years experience working in a substance abuse program.

Position: Substance Abuse Counselor (Full time)

Duties: Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily oversight of the Substance Abuse Program under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Conduct initial assessments to determine need for drug treatment or prevention education. Conduct weekly individual and group treatment education sessions to include recreational activities that promote healthy alternatives; maintain records of client's interactions by preparing treatment plans, weekly progress reports and quarterly staffing reports. Collaborate with members of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to assess client's progress. Administer and collect data for outcomes measurements; prepare monthly billing and quarterly reports according to established guidelines.

Position:        Residential Technician (Part time & PRN)

Duties: Assist youth to develop everyday practical living skills through an array of learning opportunities on and off campus. Residential Technicians responsibilities include but are not limited to direct supervision and oversight to promote a safe and therapeutic environment; modeling appropriate social skills, assisting with homework as needed to meet educational requirements, assists with health and fitness through organized team sports and recreational fun and relaxation on and off campus.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Services preferred or an Associates degree with Childcare certification and experience working with behaviorally challenged children. Current Safe Crisis Management or MANDT certification; current first aide/CPR certification; current Level I Medication certification; valid driver's license. Continuing in-service training will be provided.

Position:           Cook (Part time/every other weekend)

Duties: prepare and serve 3 high quality meals that meet USDA nutrition requirements. Work with the Food Service Manager to plan menus and prepare meals; greet clients and serve meals while keeping food at proper temperature; follow sanitation and safety procedures for proper food storage according to Health Department standards; clean serving line after meals; inventory and restock supplies. EOE

Qualifications: Must be 21 with High School or equivalent; experience preparing meals in a residential living organization; current Safe Food Handlers Certification. Continuing education provided. EOE
