It's Back to School Time and the Niles Children Need School Supplies
Your donations can help a child have the necessary supplies for school. We are in need of notebooks, binders and paper for the higher grade levels and book bags, colored pencils and glue sticks for the younger grade levels. We Desperately Need Passenger Vans or a Small Bus (new or in good condition) for transporting children to school events, doctors appointments and other vital activities!
Wish List
- Laminating Machine: for documents up to 17" wide
- Uniforms: Blue or White polo shirts, all sizes; Khaki or Blue pants, all sizes
- Cleaning supplies: PineSol, Clorox Clean-ups, brooms, paper towels, laundry detergent
- Personal hygiene products: Afro-American hair products, styling gels, barettes, clips, bath or hand soap, liquid body wash, fragrance sprays, scented lotions
- Clothing (both genders, all ages): pajamas / robes / slippers / coats / jackets / scarves, hats, gloves / underwear / socks / belts
- Batteries (sizes AAA, AA, C, D, or 9V - for use in children's toys)
- Plastic Totes - 33 qt. size, any color

In regards to clothing donations, please take them to your nearest Goodwill and inform them your donation is made on behalf of Niles Home for Children. They will issue Niles Home a voucher to use for specific children's needs, as the children come to Niles Home. This partnership makes better use of your donation and helps Niles Home better manage its resources. Thanks for supporting a great partnership with two great agencies in your community.
